First of all, some of you might have noticed that the site has often inaccessible in the past several days. It’s coming on and off without warning. Well, this is because our web host is upgrading their server and been migrating some accounts with Ztampf!’s being one of them to a more powerful server. So please have patience, and try again after a little bit if you found the site inaccessible. When the migration is completed, the site should be up and running normally at an even faster loading time :).

Now, due to this issue, I have decided to extend the deadlines for the RoboKit Challenge. The New Deadlines are:

  • Posting Entries – through Thursday, Aug. 14th 2008
  • Posting Votes – through Monday, Aug. 18th 2008

Winners will be announced on Thursday, Aug. 21st 2008 instead of the 15th as originally scheduled.

So have fun creating your Robots and I really look forward to see your creative entries gracing the Ztampfest Gallery :).

Thanks and enjoy!

Yeah! And it’s created using my latest series called the RoboKit. I’m really excited about this new kit because I’ve been releasing very feminine stuff recently and this one is for the boys! Well, and for their mothers, sisters and girl-friends too :).

The RoboKit is inspired by my all time favorite movies like “Delicatessen” and “The City of Lost Children” by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro (who also made the popular “Amélie”). I saw these movies ages ago but the inspiration remains. And then a few months ago I watched a teaser for “Wall-E” and I really liked the colors and feel of the movie as well. I haven’t seen the new trailer nor the movie, but what little I glimpsed then has prompted an idea to create a kit with a robot-related theme. While there is no actual robot element in the RoboKit, you will find plenty of things that would make up a robot in it :).

Let me tell you that the preview images just don’t do justice to the rich details and variety of the papers and elements in the kit. I’ve used some of the QuickPages to create layouts and uploaded them as additional preview images – so you will get to see more of the details this way :). Anyway, I really hope you all will like the kit as much as I do (or close enough! haha!). Actually, I like it so much I’m considering to create an Add-On Pack for it already! In any case, please do let me know how do you like it, ok! Thanks!!!

Of course… a RoboKit Package Saving is also available which will give you a $3.00 saving! You could have a double saving – at $6.00 saving total if you have the ztampfilicious coupon code given in the Ztampfever #35 ;). Have you subscribed yet? It’s not too late to enjoy the benefit as I will re-queue the newsletter a few times today and tomorrow. Subscribe here.

Oh and here are the layouts I mentioned above:

If you like the last layout above, you can download the QuickPage for free at the Samplers and Gifts Section at Ztampf!Shop. Just click the layout above to get there :).

Well, that’s it for now… Enjoy :)

These days I’ve been spending more time on Facebook than I used to be. I reconnected with so many old school friends through it and I discovered some new friends through which I got introduced to new music that became my favorite – among other interesting things.

Now, did you know that fans of Ztampf! can join Ztampf! Digital Artistry on Facebook to discuss all things ztampfilicious; post comments, requests, suggestions, questions, projects, or share Ztampf! Previews and get surprise coupons, etc. I see a lot of fun potentials on these. But I need your participation to make it more so! Just click here to join us and enjoy the benefits :).

So… what are tiny and versatile and timeless and useful?

Tiny QuickPages and Tiny Ensembles! Yes, these are provided as part of each Ztampf! CraftyCalendar Kit ever released. Some of you who are relatively new to Ztampf! never got a chance to enjoy how versatile these tiny things to create custom greeting cards, mini albums and hybrid crafthings. Upon request, I made them all available separate from the CraftyCalendar Kits as the CraftyCalendar Kits are currently no longer available in the shop – that is, until I release the new ones for 2009!

Check them out…

This one is from the first CraftyCalendar Kit, released end of 2005 for the year 2006:

Yay! First off, I have started scrapping my Artist Residency trip – I have 2 pages done so far; just click to see larger versions with detailed info:

And… I am oh so very excited with this newest series that I have just completed called “Bohemian Rhapsody“:

The kit is big with 18 background papers and a generous amount of unique elements – most of them are very labor-intensive and really trying my patience at times! But I am so pleased with the result when it’s all done :). I hope you all will like it too!

But before you run to the shop, take note of this coupon code: ztampfiliciousborhap0806 to enjoy $2.00 OFF when you purchase the Bohemian Rhapsody Package Saving. That’s right, you will save a total of $5.00 (if you purchase the series separately the combined cost is $20.55 while when you get the Package Saving it is just $17.55; with the further the $2.00 off coupon you pay just $15.55 for the entire series!). Oh and of course you will also receive the Bonus Pack with it! Sweet hmmm… ;)

Now go take a look and let me know which part is your favorite!

Have a ztampfilicious weekend :).

Yeah! I’ve finally got this done and now it’s sitting pretty in my CafePress Boutique :). I had this idea for months but it’s not until recently that I managed to work on it and yesterday, I’ve uploaded it! What is it?

Well, it’s an actual, physical Wall Calendar that you can order from my CafePress Boutique. So… what so special about it? Well, it IS customizable! How? The concept is similar to that of QuickPages. The top part of the calendar which is usually a finished image/photo is instead a QuickPage! But of course there is not ‘transparent window’ to insert your photo as in the digital version. This paper version provides a Photo Space instead: a framed matting in a scrapbook layout setting. When you received your calendar, you can then add your own photographs on it by gluing (or using double-sticky tape or glue-tape runner) them on the provided Photo Spaces. Because of the beautiful matting, it doesn’t matter if the size or the proportion of your photos is not exactly the same with the provided space. It’s designed to even allow you to be playful by tilting your photos inside the Photo Space if you wish! There are spaces around the Photo Space to add your title or notes i.e. date and occasion or even a short journaling in some cases.

This provides a super quick and easy way to create personalized gifts for your friends and family! You can even send them blank without photos for them to put their own too! And of course, you can always added more actual embellishment if you wish! I think this will come in handy when you are pressed for time or simply don’t like to do any paper crafting and yet wanting something with a more personal touch. What do you think?

Ztampfabulous Customizable Wall Calendar

Ztampfabulous Customizable Wall Calendar specs:

  • Each page measures 11″ x 8.5″
  • Measures 11″ x 17″ when hung on wall
  • Full bleed dynamic color
  • 100 lb cover weight high gloss paper, wire-o bound
  • January 2008 – December 2008, 2009 preview, US holidays marked

Oh! And my own CafePress order came in the post today! Yay! A customer who placed an order a while go also got hers today! And she told me how she loved everything she got – mostly apparel. And as for me, I got the Black Pondering T-Shirt and the two A Perfect Blend Mugs, plus the Vintage Clock! Love them all! Now that I have the ‘Seize The Day… and digiscrap it!’ Collection, I want them too! Ha! I’m rushing out now – leaving for Jakarta the day after tomorrow. But I’ll try to get some pics taken with them and post them!

Some previews of the new designs uploaded yesterday:

What do you think? There are more there… just take a look :).

I still have to finish one Mini Crafty Calendar and one Half-Legal Size Crafty Calendar by tomorrow, my last day in Hong Kong before going to Jakarta to see my folks for 2 weeks. I’ve printed all the pages – will trim, make the covers and bind them tomorrow. Oh and I still have to wrap some Christmas presents too… and the cards to be mailed… among other things! And now it’s already 3 a.m.! Where have all the time gone?

Oh before I forget… The posting period for Ztampfans Challenge #4 is through Dec. 13th. Post away and who knows… win the prizes :).

A new Album Set, that is :). Created with the exclusive ‘Oh Baby! Kit’ (which available only as part of the Picture Yourself Creating Digital Scrapbooks ), the ‘Oh Baby! Album Set’ gives you 10 delightfully cozy QuickPages plus 2 CoverPages. Most of the pages can be rotated or flipped for different looks. A great trick to expand the album quickly and economically ;). I hope you’ll like this set:

For those you wondering, yes, I am creating an Album Set with the ‘Painting Kit‘ as well :). So stay tuned!

my strawberry skinIt’s been over a week since my last entry; my allergy (or whatever that is) really slows me down a lot. The medication doesn’t give me any relief from the itch and now the skin on my arms and parts of my legs and body are textured like orange peel or strawberry skin. I love textures, but not on my skin! To make matters worse, it looks like I’m allergic to the medication too! Aaargh!!! So for the past couple of days I got swollen eyelids and face – they’re still swollen now :(.

So I’ve decided to stop all medications. They are not addressing the cause as the doctors don’t know it themselves. The function of the treatment is to repress the itch and it is not working for me. They’re giving me new problems instead! On top of everything else, my skin now has become hyper sensitive. It’s a real challenge to find clothing that won’t irritate it. Any slightest roughness i.e. on the inner seams would make my condition worse. Perhaps I should shop for all things silk with impeccably soft inner seams and replace my entire wardrobe with them! Anyone willing to fund me for this? LOL

Anyhow, last Wednesday I had some blood test done; since my itch is all over the body it might be caused by something internal/systemic disease i.e. liver malfunction or anything that causes toxins to build up in the body. It is possible that it’s not allergic at all, which might explain why the medications didn’t work. The blood test result won’t be ready until this coming Thursday. They took 6 ampules of blood – they’d better be able to tell me something definite about my ailment.

For now I just drink plenty of water, have a lot of fruits, restrain myself from having any coffee and chocolate (tough!), keeping cool (temperature wise, that is!) and try not to scratch so much…

In case anybody is wondering, the medications are Semprex and Hydroxyzine. I googled Semprex and found out that it is known to have side effects and might cause allergic reaction! I was flabbergasted! How come any of the doctors (or the dermatologist) didn’t warn me of this possibility while they very well knew that I develop this new allergy – that we don’t even know what caused it. It could be anything. At the very least, they should have told me… Oh well! That’s what Google is for, I guess – among many other things!

Anyway! Thanks for those sending me get well emails, much appreciated :). Lynn, I hope your allergy has gone. Yulia, how’s your allergy now – have they pinned point the exact allergen? 3/4 of 30 is a lot! Depending on my blood test on Thursday, I might get a skin prick test. Wish us both luck! Gayle, thanks for the link. I’ve checked my mattress and beddings – and found nothing like described as bedbugs… So at least we know that it’s not bedbugs.

Enough about this wretched topic. I wanted to share these with you – they are my designs produced by Inque Boutique. They basically purchased my designs straight up. If you’re into stamping and paper-crafting, do check the stamps out! They are available both online and off line across the US. I have to admit that I like their system: combining the best features of rubber stamps and clear stamps. You can click on the images to visit the Inque Boutique website.

And guess what! Did you notice any changes at Ztampfest Gallery recently? Check out the links on the right here on the blog… Under the Z!Girls Galleries… Yes! We have a new Z!Girl! She is Donna, whose gorgeous works most of you have seen during the Ztampf! 2nd Weekly Challenges. We’re all very excited to have her as part of the Z!Team.

Well, I haven’t been designing at all for the past weeks because of the allergy. I do have a few new things in progress – I hope to be able to finish them within the next few days. Thank you for your patience :).

Now please wish me well a.s.a.p. This has been going on for too long…
