Jarrett & I finally got some pics of just the 2 of us at the beach. Thank goodness!!! We NEVER get pics of just us and I am just thrilled with the couple that we got.

Journaling reads: "We don’t ever get pictures of just the two of us anymore. It’s always a picture of one of us with the kids or a shot of the whole family. It’s just so amazing how our relationship changed when we had kids. We used to focus on each other 100% of the time. Now, we don’t even get to talk about much until at least 10:00 at night when we’re both totally exhausted. I hate that we have lost some of that special time and feelings that we used to have. I love you more today than I did when I met you, but I only show you a fraction of how much that is. I’m going to try to make more of a point to focus more time on just us, as a couple."

"I love you more than life itself and I love these pictures of us together. They show just how much we love each other and how happy we are. As funny as it sounds, I love the picture of me “fixing” you the best. It shows our real life...how we just suck it up and deal with each other’s little quirks. That is one of the signs of a good marriage. You knew how important these pictures were to me and you just sat back and left me fiddle around until I felt that we were ready to go. How many other men would get all dressed up in matching clothes and walk around the boardwalk like this!!?!?? Not many....but you know how much I love getting the perfect picture. You’re the best, Jarrett, and I am so very lucky to have you. I hope we get a picture like this when we’re 90 yrs old."
