It was almost too good to be true: I've been awarded a Freeman Fellowship for an 8-week Artist Residency at Vermont Studio Center for March-April 2008! They will provide me a round trip airfare to Vermont, a private studio space, boarding and daily meals, stipends for art materials and an optional trip to New York city! The best part is that it IS true :).
I first received the news by email late in the night. Timothy happened to be with me, we're browsing the web together looking for information on 'credit card gateway'. Well, this news was certainly much more exciting than that! I was so struck with happiness! He encouraged me to apply for this so he deserved a big wet kiss ;).
