In Israel, the most common birthday wish is "Until 120 years!" (well, actually, this is the common blessing for any personal event. Wedding, birth of children... anything!)
But from this comes the idea that 60 is the end of the first half of your life, and the beginning of the second.
I suppose, the fact that 60 used to be the retirement age (many years ago...) also added something to the "half-of-your-life" philosophy.
Anyway, my mom is celebrating 60 on October 2nd! So she's just getting ready for the second half of her life!
Hard to tell by the pics, isn't it? (they were taken less then 2 years ago!)
To be honest, now i'm not sure which of the two layouts will actually be the cover of her 60th album...
The Ztampf products I used are from the following kits:
Circusoire (Alpha set)
Phrench Phoebe (the "4")
Quiet Joy (the string)
Antiquest (the button)
Drapery Folds (the folded fabric)
The Wandering Souls (the pin)
Cloud 9 (the picture frame)
and paper from Floralique Autumn and Soaring

Wow! I love everything about this! Gorgeous blending into the "fabric" and the way you have the photo tucked into the fold. Absolutely perfect!
