I made a comeback to the contemporary art world in Dec. 2004 when I participated in a group ceramic exhibition at the National Gallery of Indonesia in Jakarta. That show earned me a solo exhibition for 2005 - as well as a joint exhibition someplace else.
The photo above shown me working on one of the pieces in the "Self-Exiled" series. My husband took the photo with my then new Canon DigiRebel. On the right is a detailed view of the finished work. There were 9 pieces in all.
It was such a joy to be able to be dare to play and make mistakes again. To just explore and create, whatever may come.
